Community Guidelines

Crowdora exists to make live chat more fun, safer and easier to run. These guidelines set the conduct we expect from streamers, moderators and viewers who interact with the platform. They sit alongside — and never replace — Kick's own Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

1. For streamers

  • Set the tone: your abilities, polls and rewards shape what chat becomes;
  • Invite only people you trust as moderators, and scope their permissions honestly;
  • Don't use engagement tools to run scams, gambling with real value, or deceptive promotions;
  • Respect your viewers' data — don't export or republish chat logs to shame or target people.

2. For moderators

  • Moderate consistently: apply the channel's rules the same way to everyone;
  • Use the lightest action that works — warn before timeout, timeout before ban;
  • Never use moderation powers for personal disputes, favoritism or retaliation;
  • AI suggestions are a heads-up, not an order — you own every action you confirm;
  • Keep invite links and your session private; report compromised access immediately.

3. For viewers

  • Hype is the goal — harassment, hate speech, threats and doxxing are never hype;
  • Don't spam, flood or use bots to game energy scores, polls or leaderboards;
  • Respect moderator decisions; appeal to the streamer, not by evading a timeout;
  • Must be 13 or older to participate in interactive features.

4. Abuse of the platform

Attempting to access another channel's data, forging invite links, interfering with the scoring pipeline, or using Crowdora outputs to coordinate harassment or viewbot activity will result in immediate suspension and, where appropriate, a report to Kick.

5. Enforcement

We investigate reports in good faith and may warn, restrict features, or suspend accounts depending on severity and history. Streamers are responsible for conduct in their own channel; we step in when platform-level abuse is involved. Decisions can be appealed by email.

6. Reporting and contact

See something that breaks these guidelines? Report it — include the channel, the approximate time, and what happened.
